Play without an account

Practice progress and sound and appearance preferences are saved in this browser. Published daily games send actions to our server to calculate and save your time and penalties. Guest daily progress uses a necessary, secure browser cookie with a 30-day lifetime. Clearing that cookie removes access to unsaved guest results. When you choose Save profile and continue or Save guest progress, verified guest attempts can be attached to your signed-in account; existing first attempts on that account are kept. Practice scores are never promoted to leaderboard records.

Sharing your race

A result link contains your chosen display name, the race identifier and your five station times, including penalties. It does not include your email address or submitted answers. Anyone with that link can read and forward the result. Shared times are supplied by players, not verified leaderboard records. A received result is remembered in the browser tab for comparison after you finish.

Ticket images are created on your device. The ticket includes your total and station times. Sending a ticket or link through another app is handled by that app. Deleting your account cannot remove copies already sent to someone else.

Optional accounts and friends

Email sign-in is handled by Supabase. Your account stores your username, profile picture, accepted friendships and invitation links. Connected friends can see your username and picture; they cannot access your email. Account signup does not subscribe you to a newsletter. We do not send your email to advertising partners.

Standings and achievements

Your account keeps verified daily results and the badges earned from them. Connected friends can compare these times. For accounts, global username visibility is off until you choose it in your profile. When enabled, anyone can see your username, avatar, verified times and rank on the global leaderboard; your email is never included. Turning it off removes your entry from future leaderboard requests. Verified guest daily times and ranks appear publicly under an automatically assigned name such as Traveler 1042. This name remains the same for that guest browser session and does not include an email or chosen profile name. Unclaimed guest entries stop appearing when the 30-day guest session expires. Saving guest progress to an account removes the guest entry and follows that account’s global visibility setting.

Site traffic

We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate site usage. Our analytics component removes query strings and fragments from page URLs so invitation tokens and result links are not included in page-view URLs.

Invitations and account controls

Anyone holding an unused invitation can sign in and accept it. Each link can be accepted once and expires after seven days. Remove friends on Friends. Revoke invitations or delete your account under Settings → Account tools. Account deletion removes your online profile, friendships, invitations and any earlier account backups or ranked records. It does not clear local browser progress. Signing out also leaves local progress on the device.
